Frequently Asked Questions

How can we help today?

Are you licensed?

Absolutely. Every Mulder Electric technician is registered with the State of Michigan as an apprentice, journeyman, or master electrician, and our company operates under Kevin R. Mulder’s Master Electrician and Electrical Contractor licenses. That means every project we touch meets Michigan code and passes inspection the first time.

What sets Mulder Electric apart?

We’re a true owner-operated shop. When you call, you’re talking directly with the master electrician who will be on-site—not a dispatcher in another state. That personal touch pairs with 20 years of big-project expertise, on-time arrivals, and neat, respectful job sites.

Which forms of payment do you accept?

We accept checks, cash, ACH bank transfers, and major credit cards. (A 3.5 % processing fee applies to credit-card payments over $1,000.)

Do you offer a warranty?

Yes. All workmanship is covered by a 12-month, no-questions-asked warranty, and we register and pass through any manufacturer warranties on parts or fixtures we supply.

How are project changes handled?

If unexpected issues arise—like hidden wiring damage or code-required upgrades—we stop, explain the options, and get your written approval before proceeding. You’ll never see a surprise charge on the final invoice.
